34 Hungarian Companies Present Themselves at the Agricultural Marketing Centre’s Pavilion

Once again this year, ANUGA—one of the world`s largest and most significant food industry trade fairs, taking place in Cologne between October 4–8, 2025—is being organized with substantial Hungarian participation.

At this prestigious event, 34 Hungarian food industry enterprises will showcase the diversity and export-ready offerings of the domestic food sector at the joint pavilion of the Agricultural Marketing Centre (AMC).

ANUGA has enjoyed outstanding popularity among Hungarian companies for many years, as the trade fair not only showcases the latest international trends and innovations but also creates excellent opportunities for building business relationships, reaching new markets, and increasing international visibility. Held biennially, the event is the world's largest exhibition of its kind, where this year, 8,000 exhibitors from 110 countries are offering their products and services to around 140,000 professional visitors.

The Hungarian exhibitors have prepared for the event with a diverse range of high-quality products. The Agricultural Marketing Centre operates three joint pavilions at the exhibition—one each in the organic, general food, and meat & beverage sections—where foreign buyers can choose from the products of 34 companies in total. Fully gluten-free oat products, including granolas, muslis, and oat beer, are highly popular. There is also great interest in convenience products such as sous-vide meats, while foie gras, specialty seed oils, various superfoods, honeys, syrups, and high-quality Hungarian paprika are also attracting numerous visitors. Hungarian-produced fish chips—one of the hit products of last year's SIAL in Paris—are also among the items on display, and international retail chains are paying increased attention to healthy ready meals as well.

"ANUGA is one of the most important events for the development of Hungarian food exports, where buyers from practically every country in the world are present in a highly concentrated manner. Organizing Hungarian participation in professional exhibitions continues to play an outstanding role in the export development activities of the Agricultural Marketing Centre, including the Hungarian Food Business Program," highlighted Gergely Giczi, Deputy Managing Director of the Company, who is attending the trade fair.

The Hungarian Food Business Program (HFBP) also plays an active role in facilitating networking during ANUGA. Throughout the fair, foreign buyers interested in Hungarian products are continuously registered into the online system called the Hungarian Food Business Catalogue. The database currently contains more than 281 Hungarian manufacturers, 2,600 products, and 627 foreign buying companies, thereby providing an effective platform for export-oriented companies to capitalize on business opportunities.
